Firewood & mulch

I have done business with Helverson for 6 years and to date never been disappointed. I buy in August, stack and cover it immediately and it’s always ready to burn by Christmas. I can’t believe some of the complaints from people who bought wood in October and complained about it being wet and not ready to burn. What do they expect?? This has been the 3rd wettest year on record but I guess these complainers think Helverson operates under a tent if they are expecting it dry. Suggestion... if you’re going to burn wood follow this acronym...BEST... Buy ...Early ... Stack...Tarp.

I ordered 2 cords of firewood. Mr. Helverson delivered when he said he would. I received a very generous 2 cords. Most of the wood was in 15 - 16 inch lengths, which is what I need most because I have a wood stove. Most (90% I’d say) was oak. Only a couple were long and I mean a couple, very few. It’s been my general experience that know matter who you buy from there are always some clunkers. There were very few in my load. I will buy from Helverson Brothers again next year and I’ll recommend him to others looking for wood.

Contacted provider via contact form on Angies list with question regarding delivery. Received immediate response and all subsequent questions were answered in a timely manner. Placed order and received delivery next day. Price was very competitive and provider offered free delivery which was advantageous over other suppliers of bulk mulch. Will pass along info to friends & neighbors and would definitely use again. An overall good experience!

Helverson's mulch is of the highest quality. I always get the organic and my flowers grow so well that last year I spread some on my garden and tilled it in. Worked great! They deliver in a day or two from when you contact them and delivery is free or a nominal fee. I won't go anywhere else!
